The invention of founder Daniela Muendler from Duesseldorf is qualified to finally make the industry more sustainable. She has developed a so-called Samplistick made from recycled plastic, which you can use to easily fill your own perfume samples – rather than taking ten with you, which will then gather dust in a corner of the bathroom and never be used. The product is the size of a lipstick and can be twisted open – the similarity in name to lipstick is obviously intentional.

At the end of 2021, Daniela Mündler founded Samplistick all by herself. Her start-up produces recyclable packaging in which retailers can fill samples of perfumes or cosmetics for customers. The idea is that sellers use Samplistick to give away those product samples that customers are actually interested in, instead of handing out random sachets of creams or fragrances.

To ensure that testing uses as few resources as possible, there is the new “samplistick” – a stick made from 100% old plastic that can be recycled after use and into which samples can be filled in at perfumeries.
